Being in a game design class presented a challenge for me. When you google "games for girls" besides the many pictures you get of girls in bikinis playing twister, you usually get dress-up games - digital paper dolls that you can create outfits for.
I know I wanted to create a game that taught and stayed true to who I am as a designer. And I did not want to shy away from being cute. Basically, I wanted to create a game that I could see a younger version of myself liking and playing.
